At least two workers were killed and another injured as an under construction roof of private cement factory collapsed here on Wednesday morning. According to area police and hospital sources, workers of a private construction company were busy in the shuttering work of one of the roof of Fauji Cement Company located on Wah Cantt-Jhang Bhattar road when its roof collapsed.
All the injured had rushed to Pakistan Ordnance Factories hospital Wah Cantt where two labourers were pronounced dead while condition of one is stated to be critical. The dead were identified as Mohammad Asif and Nusrat Khan while the injured as Falak Sher.
The dead bodies have been sent to the native towns of the deceased. Security Manager of the factory told that a committee has been formed to investigate the incident. He said that compensation money would be announced for the workers, killed in the incident.
