Mahira Khan's back on social media after the 'controversy'

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan updated her social media account almost 10 days after pictures of her and Ranbir Kapoor’s late night rendezvous in New York broke the internet and caused quite a controversy.

Everyone had been waiting for Mahira’s response on the harsh backlash, which included severe character assassination that the actress faced. The diva was criticized on social media for smoking and wearing a backless dress while she was out with the bollywood heartthrob Ranbir.

The ‘Raees’ actress completely boycotted the social media after she got the unnecessary backlash, until now.It seems like Mahira could not stop herself from replying to one of her fans, who asked her to come back on twitter, to which the actress replied saying that she is there.

The actress also posted a picture condemning the dreadful attack happened in Las Vegas that happened last night with the caption #LasVegas.

Earlier after the controversy, Ranbir came for Mahira’s defense by issuing a statement. "I've gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also said is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and Love”, he said.
