Senior Provincial Minister PPP, Raja Riaz Ahmed presided over Parliamentary Party meeting held in Punjab Assembly. Provincial Ministers and MPAs expressed their point of view on local bodies' issue expressed their reservations. They especially spoke on holding election through Election Authority and appointment of administrators.
Senior Minister constituted 3-Member MPAs Committee comprising Chaudhry Hafiz Akhtar, Noshair Langrial and Ehsan ul Haq to complete home work on behalf of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and put up report, accordingly. After listening different point of views Raja Riaz Ahmed presented a resolution, which was passed stating that all MPAs of PPP accord their powers to President Asif Ali Zardari to finally decide on local bodies issue.
