Awami National Party (ANP) has announced to quit the Sindh coalition government. Earlier, ANP decided to observe a black day today (Thursday) to condemn killing of innocent people, but later postponed the call for three days. This was announced by Shahi Syed President ANP Sindh Chapter while addressing the newsmen after an urgent meeting of the party think-tank at Mardan House here on Wednesday.
According to a conspiracy, some people are trying to achieve their nefarious goals by targeting innocent citizens, Shahi Syed said, adding that there are some congested areas in the city where the terrorists targeting innocent people. He demanded of the government to launch search operation in Qasba Colony and some areas of the Orangi Town, the strongholds of terrorists, to recover arms.
"As the provincial government has failed to take action against the culprit involved, ANP has decided in protest to quit the Sindh government." he announced. "However, the provincial body of ANP has sent recommendations to the central leadership for final decision," he maintained.
