'Sarbajit Singh's name not in FIR'

Indian spy Sarbajit Singh is not nominated in FIR as it was registered against someone named Manjeet Singh, Sarbajit's counsel Awais Sheikh clarified on Wednesday. While addressing a press conference Awais tried to save his client and pointed out that his client name was not mentioned in the FIR and in fact if was Manjeet Singh son of Mehnga Singh.
He added that owing to communication gap between the two countries it was impossible to overcome the misunderstanding of resembling names. He further said that a number of Indians considered Sarabjeet Singh innocent and added that he also gathered proofs during his recent visit to India.
