Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that neither we have done politics on gunpoint nor will do so in future. "Like PML-Q, it is not our policy to play dual game of hypocrisy," he said, adding that leaders of PML (N) felt grief on the murder of three companions of Sheikh Rashid during attempt of murder on him.
While condemning the statement of President Q-League Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that it was a sheer wrong allegation that Muslim League (N) had planned to remove Sheikh Rashid from its way. He said that by levelling such allegations, Shujaat Hussain has proved himself as an irresponsible politician. He said that Shujaat Hussain should have consulted Sheikh Rashid before issuing such a statement, as Sheikh Rashid has not levelled any such allegation on PML (N) in the FIR got registered by himself.
Pervaiz Rashid said that the demand of Shujaat Hussain from all the opposition parties to withdraw the names of their candidates in favour of Sheikh Rashid has strengthened the doubt that drama of murderous attempt on Sheikh Rashid had been staged by Chaudhry Shujaat and Company.
Chaudhry Shujaat should prove his innocence in this connection; otherwise every citizen of Pakistan will be rightful to believe that Shujaat Hussain had tried to play a dual game of hypocrisy, he maintained. Pervaiz said that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain who had been sympathising with the innocent students of Lal Masjid was himself included among those killing innocent persons in Lal Masjid while the leadership of PML (N) has no such blemish on them.
