The Lahore High Court (LHC) has reshuffled 18 Civil Judges and Additional District and Session Judges (AD&SJ) across Punjab through promotions, postings and transfers against the vacant seats. A notification issued here Tuesday made the following postings and transfers amongst 10 AD&SJs.
Muhammad Arif Rana, senior civil judge, has been transferred from Vehari to Mailsi on promotion as AD&SJ, Muhammad Yaqoob, senior civil judge, has been transferred from Lodhran to Khanewal on promotion as AD&SJ, Qamar Sultan, senior civil judge, from Chakwal to Attock on promotion as AD&SJ, Tariq Khurshid Khawaja, senior civil judge, from MB Din to Taxila on promotion as AD&SJ, Aaurngzeb senior civil judge, from Islamabad to Ferozwala on promotion as AD&SJ, Muhammad Mohsin Raza Khan from Sargodha to Lahore vice Abdul Majid promoted and transferred, Muhammad Saleem from Mailsi to Lahore vice Muzaffar Ali Khan promoted and transferred, Nazir Ahmed from Khanewal to Kharian, Muhammad Yousaf Aujla from Kharina to Lahore against a existing vacancy, and Qamar Ijaz from Ferozwala to Sargodha.
According to another notification, the following postings and transfers have been made amongst the senior civil judges (SCJs). Zia Ullah Khna has been transferred from Bahawalpur to Islamabad vice Aurangzeb who was promoted and transferred, Shahbaz Ahmed has been transferred from Sheikhupura to Bahawalnagar, Chaudhry Shabbir Hussain, civil judges 1st class who was OSD at Lahore High Court, has been transferred from Lahore to MB Din on promotion as SCJ, Muhammad Afzal Khan, civil judge 1st class transferred from Talagang to MB Din on promotion as SCJ, Jamil Ahmed Khokhar, civil judge 1st class, transferred from ISA Khel to Vehari on promotion as SCJ, Abdul Razzaq, civil judge 1st class, transferred from Sialkot to Chakwal on promotion as SCJ, Kabir Ahmed civil judge 1st class transferred from Phalia to Chiniot on promotion as SCJ against an existing vacancy.
Another notification said that the services of Raja Akhtar Hussain Additional District and Session Judge Attock on promotion as D&SJ (BS-21) have been placed at the disposal of the Punjab government for his posting as presiding officer/judge anti-terrorism court no II Rawalpindi against a vacant post for a period of two and half years with immediate effect. Unless directed otherwise, the officer shall stay repatriated to the judiciary on completion of the period.
