Pakistan International Airline (PIA) the National carrier has finalised all necessary rearrangements for commencing new weekly international flight Sialkot-Sharjah from Sialkot International Airport on February 18, revealed District Manager PIA Khalid Hameed.
Talking to Business Recorder here on Wednesday he disclosed that the direct flight PK-209 will take off for Sharjah at 1045 PM from Sialkot airport. The PIA would operate its two flights for Sharjah on Thursday and Monday from Sialkot International Airport weekly he said.
Khalid Hameed said the first Sharjah bound flight would carry 115 passengers, which is a healthy omen that National Airline has taken the lead in operating its international flights from Sialkot International Airport. A large number of overseas Pakistanis and businessmen of Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Narowal, Daska, Pasrur and Jhelum, as well as many other adjoining and Mirpur Azad Kashmir would be benefited of these flights, he added.
