National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has taken pre-emptive measures to facilitate the home remittance customers including those of Western Union to provide quick and reliable services at its exclusive "help desk". According to NBP here Tuesday, the bank has fully geared up to handle the situation especially in the backdrop of problems faced by the beneficiaries in collecting their remittances from various exchange company outlets.
NBP help desk has a toll free number 0800-62798 for handling queries and complaints. This help desk is backed by a team of complaint resolution officers who are mandated to resolve the complaints with minimum turnaround time. Meanwhile, NBP has also created extensive training modules for its branch staff to beef up their skills for proving quality service to the customers. The bank said it is fully aware of the importance of home remittances, which are the second largest source of foreign exchange for the country.
