Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Friday assured the National Assembly that the ministry was not tapping anybody's phone calls. "I categorically state that the Interior Ministry is not tapping anybody's phone calls," the minister in response to a point of order by Leader of the Opposition Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan raised on an other day.
"I want to state on the floor of House that neither I am tapping anybody's phone calls nor I have directed anybody to do so," he added. However, the minister said," if anybody else is doing so, 'please tell me. We shall take cognisance."
