Pakistan's promising youthful tennis player,Ushna Suhail breezed into the quarter finals of ITF international tie defeating Rossy Leonara of Switzerland 6-3, 7-5 at Doha on Friday. According to information made available here, Ushna excelled in all departments of the game, exhibiting anticipation and lovely fore and back hand shots to underline her tennis talent.
She demonstrated extra reach to all parts of the court in recovery shots and teased her Swiss rival with sizzling serve and volley game. Ushna's match went to long rallies from the very start and she (Ushna) led 5-2 in the second set as the opponent levelled to 5 all. She took the next two games to clinch the match. Earlier in the first round she beat Nanti Giovanna of Italy 6-3, 6-1 to take a confident start in the event. Ushna will meet Nerma Caluk of Bosnia in the quarter finals.
