A Sudanese student injured in a recent bombing in India's southern city of Pune died in a local hospital Saturday, raising the death toll to 12, officials said.Amjad Elgajoli, 21, was the fourth foreign national to die from the February 13 terrorist attack. An Italian woman, an Iranian student and a Nepali worker were also killed.
The blast ripped through a popular German bakery, injuring 60 people. More than 30 victims are still being treated in hospitals in Pune, about 165 kilometres south-west of Mumbai. But Indian investigators dismissed Lashkar-e-Taiba al-Almi's claim, calling it a "red herring" to distract attention from the actual perpetrators.
