You can fly now with Etihad Airways and pay later
Good news for all the gallivanters who wish to travel around the world but are low on cash, as the 5-star airline has now launched a new payment method that would enable the passengers to travel now but pay for it later.
Etihad Airways has introduced a new payment plan that enables the travelers to board the flight for free and later pay for it on a monthly basis. The UAE airline has come up with a payment method, PayFort similar to Afterpay that allows people to pay for their brought-ups within the time period of eight weeks but unlike Afterpay, PayFort will allows its customers to pay off for their debts one month at a time in an extended period of up to 60 months.
This five year plan will allow travelers, who wish to experience the full luxuries of the 5-star airline, including the £22,000 priced three-room Residence Suite booking for one-way journey between Dubai and New York City.
At present this new payment method is limited and only available with 17 participating banks and to the residents of Arab countries like UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt but has promised to open its wings to other banks and more countries in the future.
