Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said eradication of poverty and unemployment is the top priority of the Punjab government. Politics of corruption, plunder and opportunism would be ended as soon as possible. The PML-N workers should prepare themselves to play a positive role in the forthcoming era of political and economic change, which is not very far, he said.
While addressing PML-N workers at different places during his visit to Bahawalpur division, here on Wednesday. He said that in addition to provincial budget, huge resources were also acquired from international development agencies. Regarding complaints against police department, he said that complaints of people against police were not baseless.
He said that SHOs of three police stations of Hasilpur had been suspended and legal action would be taken against them. Police officials patronising criminals would be held equally guilty and they would have to face punishment, the chief minister said.
