About 52 flour mills located in different districts of Balochistan have suspended pulverising the wheat as they are not being supplied the commodity in adequate quantity. Sources in the Flour mills Association told APP here on Wednesday that Balochistan based flour mills could restart their grinding operation if the provincial government took steps to import wheat from Punjab in adequate quantity.
It was learnt that flourmills, which suspended their operation included 33 in Quetta, 07 in Pashin, 02 each in Chaghi, Hub and Kachi and 01 each in Loralai, Sibbi, Barkhan, Nasirabad and Khuzdar. It may be mentioned that total 55 flour mills are functioning in Balochistan.
