Participants of the 92nd National Management Course (NMC) comprising senior civil officers from various occupational groups including faculty members and Lieutenant General Javed Hassan (Retd), Rector, National School of Public Policy, Lahore visited Pakistan Post on Wednesday.
Director General, Pakistan Post briefed the participants about the course and the services being offered by Pakistan Post ie, the core functions, agency services and financial status of the organisation. Pakistan Post is focusing on the expectations and demands of the customer and every postal functionary has been geared up to provide quality services.
The participants of the course took keen interest in the presentation and asked many questions regarding the various activities of the Pakistan Post. Fazli Sattar Khan, Additional Director General (Operations), Agha Anwar Gul, Additional Director General (Administration) Pakistan Post also answered some of the questions of the participants. Minister of State for Postal Services, Abdur Raziq Afridi was also present on the occasion.
During his interaction with the participants of the course, he lauded the efforts of Pakistan Post in delivery of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) money orders. He informed that so far Pakistan Post has disbursed Rs 32.37 billion to 2.3 million beneficiaries through 10 million money orders which is indeed a gigantic task.-PR
