As part of its CSR initiatives, Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) set up a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Attock Hospital Limited (AHL) and Armed Forces Institute of Transfusion (AFIT) at Morgah, here on Thursday. Leading by example, members of the top management team were the first to donate their blood. After screening of blood, 216 persons donated their blood.
This high number of enthusiastic volunteers from ARL for a noble cause not only demonstrated commitment to their core value of social responsibility, but also gives hope and strengthens our belief in the potential and destiny of Pakistan. This is especially true in this trying time when Pakistan is facing serious challenges and threats. The AHL is conducting blood donation activity for the last many years. This is a good example to motivate other people and organisations to follow suit by indulging in such real public service activities.-PR
