Vice chancellor Khuzdar University seeks inquiry into attack on students

Vice Chancellor Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar Birg Retd Mukhtar Ahmed Khan, on Thursday, sought impartial probe into attack on students, observing Baloch Cultural Day in the university premises in which at least two students lost their lives and over 20 sustained severe injuries.
Addressing a news conference here, he viewed the attack on the students was conspiracy to deteriorate law and order situation and damage the educational system in the province. He emphasised the need to conduct inquiry into the attack on the students' incident with out any further delay.
He said the security of the university had been beefed up. He maintained the injured of the incident were being provided medical treatment by the government. He noted that examinations in the university would be conducted from March 24. Administration Director of the varsity Muhammad Khan Jatak was also present.
