Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Mohammed Farooq Hyder Khan has said that the Kashmir cause was most damaged during the reign of former President Parvez Musharraf. Pakistan should reframe its national policy envisaging the ideological and natural outlook on Kashmir, he said while talking to the journalists after a visit to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam where he laid floral wreath and offered Fateha.
The PML (N) leader Saleem Zia and leaders of Muslim Conference were also present on the occasion. AJK Prime Minister said that since 1947, over 6 lac Kashmiris have sacrificed their lives for their rights and Kashmir cause.
He recalled that the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah had, at an annual meeting in Srinagar in 1944, established the relationship of Kashmiri people with Pakistan and now even after 63 years of Pakistan coming into being, Kashmiris are struggling for their right of self-determination.
Raja Farooq Hyder thanked the PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif who categorically stated that Kashmir is the lifeline of Pakistan. He hoped that Mian Nawaz Sharif would extend his role in getting the Kashmiris their right and supporting their struggle.

The premier said that during his visit to Karachi, he will hold meeting with Sindh government on the problems of Kashmiris living here including admissions of Kashmiri students in the educational institutions and jobs for them. He further said that during his visit, he would also meet the businessmen of Karachi and convince them to invest in Kashmir.
He pointed out that vast investment opportunities exist for investment in hydel power generation and tourism and investors would be facilitated in every way. Best opportunities exist for investment in Bhambhar and Mirpur, he added. Raja Farooq assured that AJK is a safe area from the law and order point of view and investment.
