PML (N) leader/MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that PML (N) firmly believes in serving the masses sincerely and practical steps are being taken for the welfare and the betterment of the downtrodden in the province. He was addressing a public gathering at Waso Astana some 32km from Jhang held in connection with electioneering campaign of PML (N) candidate for PP 82 by-elections Mian Muhamamd Azam Chaila.
He showed the copy of notification before the public for giving the tehsil status to the Athara Hazar. He said that PML (N) govt would fulfil all promises made with the masses because we are not doing the politics of falls and hollow slogans. He announced the establishment of the tehsil headquarters hospital, Girls Degree College, initiating of classes in Boys Degree College at Athara Hazari and promised for granting proprietary rights to the residents of Thathi Langar and Kot Eisa.
Addressing the gathering Hamza said that PML (N) was doing politics of decency and harmony and is endeavouring for the development and progress of the country besides making the society corruption free and upholding of the rule of law. He said that the dictator ruler General Parvaiz Musharraf could not overcome the menace of terrorism during the 9 years regime and wasted 10 billion dollars.
He said that the present Punjab govt was following the polices of promoting of education to grip the issues of terrorism. He said that the country was facing severe crises of energy due to the defective and unwise policies of the federal government and country's economy was adversely effecting due to long load shedding.
He said that the Pakistan possessed huge reserves of coil and can produce the energy up to 240 years according to the survey of foreign experts. Enumerating the Punjab government revolutionary reforms introduced in the health sector, he said that the facilities of free medical treatment was given to the patients in the government hospitals in Punjab province and free dialysis facilities had been reactivated for the kidney patients.
He appreciated the courageous leadership of Muhamad Nawaz Sharif and said that he led the long march despite expected threats to his life only for the cause of an independent judiciary. He appealed the people to cast their votes in favour of the PML (N) candidate for making the country's future safe and prosperous.
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah Khan said that the PML (N) was a political party of loyal people and would fulfil all promises made with the masses. He said that PML (N) leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif carried out nuclear tests in May 1998 and made Pakistan first ever atomic power Islamic Country despite the pressure of American President.
Punjab Minister for Agriculture Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh, MNA Sahibzada Mehbub Sultan, MPAs Alhaj Muhammad Yaqub Sh, Mahr Khalid Mehmud Sargana, Mahr Sultan Sikandar Barwana, Maulan Ilyas Chinioti, Saeed Akbar Nwani, Malik Waris Kallu and PML(N) candidate Mian Muhammad Azam Chaila also spoke on the occasion.
