Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated Horse and Tattoo Show at Lahore Race Club on Thursday. Balloons were released at the inaugural ceremony while Army and Police bands presented tunes of national songs. Students presented Kalam-e-Iqbal. Folk dances, horse racing and tent pegging competition as well as horse dance was also presented at the beat of drums.
Audience showed deep interest in the programmes and applauded the performance. Provincial Minister for Jails Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor, Director General Rangers Punjab Major General Muhammad Yaqub Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Channel City-42, Mohsin Naqvi, District Co-ordination Officer Lahore and senior government officers were also present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned that Horse and Tattoo Show has been arranged with the mutual collaboration of Rangers, Channel City-42, and District Government Lahore and the festival will continue till March 14. Earlier, Director General Rangers, Chief Executive Officer Channel City-42 and DCO Lahore received the Chief Minister when he arrived at the inaugural ceremony. A smartly turned-out contingent of Rangers presented salute to the Chief Minister.
