Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in the index. ISE Ten Index showed an increase of 59.82 points, as the Index moved from 2,419.27 to 2,479.09points.
The overall turnover amounted to 1,255,008 shares, as compared to previous volume of 771,053 shares. Total 148 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (85) closed in positive territory, 63 closed in negative territory.
The turnover of Lafarge Pakistan Cement was 421,500 shares. The volume of Lotte Pakistan PTA was 218,700 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 126,800 shares. Top gainer was Fazal Textile with an increase of Rs 11.17 per share, whereas was a major loser was Unilever Pakistan with a decrease of Rs 28.07 per share.
