Superintendent Police District Skardu Mohammad Ali Shah said the law and order situation in Skardu is completely under control and police is keeping a watch on every person who enters and exits the district. Talking to APP, he said he has issued instruction to all officers of police to ensure security of life and property of the citizens.
He said 5000 more policemen would be appointed to strengthen the department. He said due to good policies of Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah, peace prevail in all the districts of Gilgit-Baltistan.
