A UK-based relief and development agency Muslim Aid organised a certificate distribution ceremony at its Skills Development Centre (SDC) 'Hunerkada', here on Tuesday. A total of 340 female students of Muslim Aid Hunerkada were awarded with certificates under various courses including ceramic work.
English language, computer skills, sewing & cutting, 'adda' work and professional skills training. Muslim Aid-Pakistan Chairman Lieutenant General Khalid Latif Moghal (Retd) was the chief guest on the occasion, said a press release issued here Tuesday.
An amount of Rs 20 thousand was given away to the students who took positions in the courses. Muslim Aid Country Director Khobaib A Vahedy, Programme Manager Syed Mooezuddin, Ex Chairman Baitulmal Raja Mujahid Afsar, officials of NGOs and civil society members also participated in the ceremony.-PR
