DCO/Administrator Saeed Wahlah has directed the Town Administrators that special steps should be taken for safeguarding and protecting government properties and civic facilities should also be maintained for the welfare and betterment of the citizens.
He issued these instructions while inspecting the vacant land of defunct Municipal Corporation. He directed the administration of Lyalpur Town to arrange fence of barbed wire around the vacant land and directed that steps be taken for establishing an organised vehicle parking to facilitate the citizens.
The DCO also inspected stores of land branch of TMA and directed that all records should be kept in order and the items confiscated during the anti encroachment campaign should be auctioned under relevant rules and regulation. He further directed that all the illegal encroachments around the stores and workshops should immediately be removed. He also visited sold waste management workshop and examined the record and stores.
Earlier, the DCO visited all Pakistan Women Association (APWA) building located nearby the open land of defunct Municipal Corporation and inspected different portions of the building. He directed the Administrator Lyallpur Town to take measures for the renovation and necessary repairing of the building. He assured that the garbage and debris piled up behind the APWA building would be cleared entirely by the Municipal Services Department.
