Interior Minister Rehman Malik said there was no deadlock between Pakistan Peoples Party and MQM and both the parties had consensus on all issues. He was talking to a private TV news channel after his meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Functional leader Pir Pagara.
He said he discussed several issues including that of terrorism and affairs of mutual interest with Pir Pagara. He would try to follow the advises given to him by Pir Pagara, he added.
A question, he said sufficient progress had been made in Benazir Bhutto assassination case. However, he could not reveal anything at the moment. We would release local investigation report after the UN investigation report, he added. To another question, he said there was no deadlock between PPP and its coalition partners in Sindh.
