Commuters of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad are facing a third consecutive tough day as transporters continued strike. According to a private news channel transporters continued their strike against the decision of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration on the withdrawal of notification pertaining to increase in fares.
Talking to a private news channel a local wagon driver said that he does not accept the withdrawal of notification. I have to support a large family of eight people I am a poor man so it is not possible for me to accept the new notification, he added. Commuter of the twin cities remained glued to bus stops, as public transport vehicles were not plying.
