Sindh Minister for Fisheries Zahid Ali Bhurgari has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice and ordered inquiry into the "judicial murder" of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He said that if suo motu notice was not taken than he would file petition in the court after consulting party leadership.
He was talking to journalists at Circuit House, Hyderabad here on Monday after the meeting of PPP Hyderabad's executive body regarding the arrangements of 31st death anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. The minister said that in order to pay homage to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on his death anniversary, a convey of 200 vehicles would go to Garhi Khuda Bux from Hyderabad on April 3, 2010.
He said during its two years in power, the PPP government resolved longstanding issues including scrapping of Kala Bagh Dam project and giving NFC Award, which are great achievements of the government. He said that with the approval of NFC Award Sindh would get more than 70 billions of rupees, which would help generate employment opportunities and execute development projects of public welfare.
