Summaries of the ICE Futures US cocoa, coffee and sugar markets early on Monday. May arabica coffee contract rose 0.85 cent to $1.3335 per lb at 11:07 am EDT (1507 GMT). Ranging from $1.3085 to $1.3365. Arabica coffee futures reversed higher, bouncing up as the dollar pared its gains, said traders. May raw sugar contract dipped 0.38 cent to 18.26 cents per lb at 11:07 am.
Wide trading range from 17.80 to 18.85 cents. Sugar fell but respected last week's low of 17.66 cents, basis May, in consolidative dealings while a bounce was expected by some, said dealers. May cocoa contract inched up $5 to $2,839 per tonne at 11:08 am. Session range from $2,782 to $2,846. US cocoa was little changed, climbing up from earlier losses as the pound reversed higher against the dollar, said traders.
