Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Haji Imran Zafar emerged winner against PML-Q's Mian Imran Masood in a neck-to-neck battle in PP-111 constituency of Gujrat, according to the unofficial results reached here on Wednesday, a private TV channel said.
According to the channel, Imran Zafar won by a narrow margin after getting 25020 votes against his opponent Imran Masood, who stood second by securing 22466 votes. On the other hand, Samiullah Alizai of PPP has gained a decisive lead in the PF-65 constituency against JUI-F's Maulana Lutfullah in another close contest. Out of total 77, unofficial results of 72 polling stations are already out, according to which Alizai has already obtained a clear majority.
