Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif has said that judges and lawyers must show respect to each other so that courts can dispense justice swiftly among masses. Chief Justice said this while talking to delegations of district bar associations of Khushab, Sheikhupura, Wazirabad, Siray-e-Alamgeer, Noorpur Thal, Minchanabad, Shahpur and Kharian.
Chief Justice urged the lawyers to perform their duties as described by religion. He praised the role of young lawyers in restoration of judiciary and advised senior lawyers to guide those who were tarnishing the image of whole community by their wrong deeds. He also handed over a cheque of one Lac to Khushab and Shahpur bar associations for up-gradation of their libraries.
