On the special instructions of Chairman POF Board Lieutenant General Shujaat Zamir Dar, various functions held at Wah Cantt to commemorate Pakistan Day celebrations. Sports fair was arranged at Sports Complex Wah, in which four sports competitions were organised.
A Volleyball match between POF and Pakistan Army teams was played in which Pak Army defeated POF team in the best of three matches. In the hockey match, POF Green lost by POF White. In the Badminton match, POF Green defeated POF White, while in the last basketball competition POF Wah won the match by defeating POF Havelian team.
Later, Chief Guest Tabassam Rehan, Presidents Sports Control Board gave away prizes among the players who showed best performances. Another function was arranged at Ordnance Club Wah, in which a large number of students from various schools of Wah Cantt participated and presented national songs and tableau show. Managing Director, AA Factory, Munir Mohsin Syed was the chief guest on the occasion. He said, "March 23 is the day of the revival of commitment and it is our responsibility to follow the footsteps of our ancestors.-PR
