The main motto of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) is to ensure road safety and resolve social problems being faced by the masses, said Dr Moeen Masood, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Islamabad here on Wednesday. The ITP in league with Federal Ministry of Health started an awareness campaign to curb tuberculosis, the SSP said, while addressing the seminar jointly organised by ITP and Ministry of Health on International TB Day.
Dr Moeen Masood said that ITP is taking part in the campaign to save the lives of people and TB control programme is launched with the aim to create awareness among the people about the disease. He added that ITP F.M radio 92.4 is also airing programmes in its health corner to educate the people about the causes of the disease. He reiterated that Islamabad Traffic Police would take every initiative for the safety of the masses.
