18th Convocation of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) would be held on Monday (today) at Iqbal Auditorium of the University. The Governor Punjab/Chancellor of the University will preside over the Convocation. In this regard a full dress rehearsal was conducted by University Administration on Sunday and preparations of the Convocation were finalised.
The proceedings of the 18th Convocation would be started soon after arrival of the Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer, who will lead the Academic procession along with Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice Chancellor University of Agriculture, Registrar Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain, Controller Examination Dr Tanveer A Malik and other eminent academicians.
The Deans of various faculties will present the names of position holders of respective faculties in order to decorating them with medals and degrees. The graduates, post-graduates and PhD's scholars passed out in 2006 would be the recipients of their degrees. Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan Vice Chancellor UAF will deliver welcome address in the beginning and presidential address will be delivered by Salmaan Taseer, in the end.
