Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Legislative Assembly, Syed Mehdi Shah Sunday said some elements were trying to create rift among the party leaders, but they would not succeed in their evil design. Talking to APP, he said the Governor should be careful of these elements, as they did not want to see democracy flourishing in the region.
He said we were pursuing the mission of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and would continue to serve the masses in true manner. He further said the Governor was a representative of the Federal government and we were happy that our party leadership had selected such a Governor who was aware of all the problems of the poor masses of GB.
"Dr Shama is an educated lady and knows how to tackle problems. She will prove to be a responsible Governor and will strengthen the democratic government of GB," he added.
