A two-member team of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reached London and secured the record of Swiss cases against President Asif Ali NAB had earlier written a letter to Pakistan's High Commissioner Wajid Shamsul Hassan, asking him to send the Swiss cases records to NAB headquarter, as early as possible, the sources said, adding that the Pakistan envoy suggested NAB officials should come to London to take the boxes to Pakistan.
The NAB would present the record before the Supreme Court if directed, said a spokesman of the NAB while talking to this scribe. When asked about making the record of Swiss cases public, the NAB spokesman was of the view that the Accountability Bureau will do so if directed by Supreme Court.
It is pertinent to note that the boxes containing the record of Swiss cases against Pakistani politicians were brought to London by Pakistan High Commissioner in London from a Swiss legal firm in Geneva, contesting the cases on behalf of the government of Pakistan. Wajid Shamsul Hassan during a secret operation shifted the documents and evidences related to the Swiss Money Laundering Case against President Zardari and his slain spouse Benazir Bhutto, from Geneva to some unknown location in the UK.
