President Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul has said that people of Lahore have won the hearts by giving them a rousing welcome. He also thanked Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He said that Turkey and Pakistan has strong historical and cultural ties and people of the two countries have deep affiliation with each other. He said that the warm welcome accorded to the Turk delegation in Lahore has revived the old friendship with Pakistan.
