The Karachi Port handled 113,366 tonnes of cargo including 76,324 tonnes of import cargo; 37,042 tonnes of export cargo and 3,603 loaded and empty containers during last 24 hours ended at 0700 hours on Thursday. The total import cargo of 76,324 tonnes comprised of 28,729 tonnes of containerised cargo; 93 tonnes of bulk cargo; 4,543 tonnes of coal; 1,712 tonnes of rock phosphate and 41,247 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
The total export cargo of 37,042 tonnes comprised of 19,598 tonnes of containerised cargo; 940 tonnes of bulk cargo; 12,911 tonnes of cement; 2,293 tonnes of rice and 1,300 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo. Two ships namely Hanjin Duesseldrof and Uni Promote sailed out to sea during the reported period.
Eight vessels viz Bunga Raya Enam, Cap George, Hyundai Commodore, Bow Cape, Aerolite, Mazen-1, Endeavour and OXL Triumph are currently at the berths. Seven ships namely Kuleli, Valrossa, Dubai Star, OXL Triumph, Bunga Raya Enam, Bow Cape and Cap George expected to sail on Thursday. Three vessels viz Golden Oceania, President Truman and Shukri-B due to arrive on Thursday, while two ships namely Al-Marwah and MT Johar are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
The Port Qasim handled 95,138 tonnes of cargo includes 76,629 tonnes of import cargo; 18,509 tonnes of export cargo and 2,319 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours on Thursday.
The total import cargo of 76,629 tonnes includes 47,692 tonnes of diesel oil; 7,800 tonnes of palm oil; 3,692 tonnes of chemicals and 17,445 tonnes of containerised cargo. The total export cargo of 18,509 tonnes includes 2,771 tonnes of rice; 1,866 tonnes of cement and 13,872 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Three ships namely CV ACX Marguerrte, CV CMA CGM Turquoise and MT Advance Victoria sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while three more ships namely CV Asir, MT Galaxy and MT DP Porteus are expected to sail on Thursday.
Eight vessels viz CV ACX Marguerrte, CV CMA CGM Turquoise, CV Asir, MV Alexi-III, MV Oriental Moon, MT DP Porteus, MT Advance Victoria and MT Galaxy are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, chemicals, palm oil and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours. Six ships namely MSC Jeanne, CSAV Apennine, Al-Salam-II, Al-Anberiah, Quetta and Fraternity Wisdom carrying containers, diesel oil, furnace oil and rice are respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four vessels viz CV CSAV Apennine, CV OOCL Kobe, MV Fraternity Wisdom and MT Quetta scheduled to load/offload containers, rice and furnace oil are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal (MW-1) and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Two container ships namely CV Al-Abdali and CV MSC Aurelie due to arrive on Thursday, while four more ships namely CSAV Naersk Naha, CV MSC Jeanne, MT Samho Heron and MT Emerald Park carrying containers, palm oil and chemicals are due to arrive on Friday.
