A bus carrying a wedding party fell into deep ravine at Siah village in Lower Dir district on Sunday, killing three women, while 15 passengers sustained injuries, police said.
According to Oach police station's inspector Shah Khalid, the bus was carrying women of a wedding party to Och but when it reached near Siah village, the driver Jan Rahab lost control over it while negotiating a sharp turn and was plunged into deep ditch.Resultantly, Guncha Bibi, Noreen Bibi and Mst Farzana died on the spot, while 15 others women wounded of whom 13 are critical.
The official of Och police station and local rushed to the spot and recovered the injured. The wounded were rushed to DHQ hospital Dir Lower for treatment.
