The 20th Pakistan International Education Exhibition commenced on Sunday here at the Karachi Expo Center. The two-day event is being held under the auspices of the World Learning Bureau (WLB).
Sindh Minister for Information Technology, Muhammad Raza Haroon, performed the inauguration. Speaking on the occasion, he said that quality education is a must for making a rapid headway in the comity of nations.
The Minister lauded the efforts of the WLB towards the promotion of education. The Director of the WLB, Shaikh Jamaluddin, said that the exhibition has been organised with a view to promote education and provide the youngsters with the relevant information towards the acquisition of higher education in Pakistan as well as abroad.
As many as 50 stalls from national and international educational institutions have been set up at the exhibition. The exhibition will later be staged in Lahore and Rawalpindi, it was announced. The visitors are being informed regarding the admissions policy, courses offered, tuition, accommodations availability and procedure of getting scholarship for the interested students.
