Islamabad security police force is committed to provide protection and fool proof security to VVIPs, foreign dignitaries as well as other important personalities and this responsibility would be professionally accomplished in future with same zeal and zest.
It was stated by DIG (Security) Dr Mujeeb ur Rehman during his address at Police Darbar, which was attended by the police officials, jawans of Security Division, Prime Minister Secretariat. SP Muntazir Mehdi, DSP Liaqat Ali Langah, DSP Muhammad Ajmal and DSP Muhammad Hafeez Baloch were also present on the occasion.
DIG said that all officers and jawans must accomplish their responsibilities with dedication and honesty, as the country is facing several challenges presently. He also ensured to provide better working environment to law enforcers and also envisaged a set of measures for the welfare of the security police force.
DIG said several schemes for the welfare of the security police force are being launched, which include health insurance scheme, mess rooms, recreation rooms and also better working infrastructure. Mujeeb ur Rehman said he had a great wish to see better working environment in security division, quality of mess, recreation facilities for the police jawans, adding that these short term targets would be achieved soon. "Good policing requires massive investment and we are thankful to the present regime to providing full support to the Islamabad police," he remarked.
"We can contribute to make a real difference if we set targets in our lives and focus on their achievement," he said and urged all policemen to become responsible and contribute for a positive change. He said motorcycle scheme is also being launched."The purpose of launching various schemes is to encourage the serving policemen and remove any sense of deprivation during their service tenure. He also appreciated efforts of IGP Islamabad Syed Kaleem Imam for initiating various plans for the social uplift of the policemen.
The DIG mingled with police officials and jawans of security division, listened their problems and ordered to resolve them.
Mujeeb ur Rehman said those performing well would be awarded in future, while anyone involved in dereliction of duties would not be spared.
