President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday accepted the resignation by Sherry Rehman from the office of federal minister, with effect from May 14, 2009. The President accepted the resignation under clause (3) of Article 92 of the Constitution, as Sherry Rehman had resigned on May 14 last, according to a Cabinet Division notification issued here.
