Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Inquiries and Inspection, Waqas Malik, has said no corruption, embezzlement or sub-standard work in government projects implemented with public money. Strict legal action will be taken against government officials and contractors involved in such practices and pushed behind the bars, he said while talking to journalists at his office on Tuesday.
He referred to his visit to various development schemes of Tando Mohammed Khan including civil hospital, court building, Tehsil Bulri Shah karim hospital building, water supply scheme and other works including roads construction alongwith Team's chairman Abdul Subhan Memon and other members.
He expressed indignation over sub-standard works in Rs 52 lac T.M. Khan Water Supply scheme and Rs 17.50 million Bulri Shah Karim Tehsil hospital and admonished the concerned persons. Taking notice of Rs 9 lac alleged corruption in Burhan Shah water supply scheme, the Advisor summoned the Taluka municipal administration alongwith concerned record to chief minister house.
