Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and MNA has said that the exemplary friendship between Pakistan and Turkey has opened up a new chapter of progress and prosperity for the people of both the countries. While talking to the members of a delegation from Turkey, Hamza said that people of Punjab are proud of their historical, cultural, social and economic ties with the Turkey.
The delegation led by Ismail Hakki is currently on a visit to Pakistan. Hamza maintained that the rousing welcome accorded to the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif by Turkish government and the people during his visit to Turkey. He said the agreements signed on this occasion will help strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. He said that the warm welcome accorded to the Turkish President Abdullah Gul in Lahore reflects the deep rooted and cordial bonds between the two brotherly Islamic countries.
