Thin business was seen on the wholesale grain and oilseed market on Wednesday as most of the buyers were sidelined due to lack of interest, dealers said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 2350-2375. Other types maintained the overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the seed counter prices moved both ways, rapeseed Nawabshah low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 1575 and better type was down by Rs 35 to Rs 1600, rapeseed Dadulane low type lost Rs 50 to Rs 1600 and good type shed Rs 55 to Rs 1625. Castorseed Sindh was down by Rs 100 to Rs 1900 and cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type shed Rs 10 to Rs 980 while the best type did not move any side at Rs 1000, they said.
