Argentine soya's closing prices and trends on Tuesday. In the main grains market of Rosario, soya prices closed up at between 860 and 870 pesos ($221 to $223) per tonne compared with 852 pesos in the previous session, boosted by gains in the influential CBOT market, traders said. Trade volume swelled to 40,000 tonnes from 30,000 tonnes on Monday.
US soya futures turned higher after weak opening due to a lack of cash selling by US and South American farmers. In the southern Argentine grains port of Quequen and Bahia Blanca, soya prices rose 10 pesos to end at 850 pesos and 870 pesos respectively.
