A chieftain of Bugti Tribe was killed while six of his men were wounded in an attack by unknown armed men at his camp here on Thursday. According to the local police, the assailants who were armed with sophisticated firearms opened fire at the camp of Wadera Meer Muhammad in the area of police station Notal, and fled.
As a result, Wadera Meer Muhammad Bugti died on the spot, while six others including his son Khan Muhammad suffered serious injuries and were referred to Larkana Hospital for treatment. Condition of three of the wounded was stated to be critical. Motive behind the attack could not be ascertained. Police is investigating the incident.
