Pakistan People's Party core committee meeting was held in Islamabad on Saturday night, Aaj News reported. Talking to the channel, Farhatullah Babar said the committee expressed its satisfaction over the UN Commission report on BB's murder. He said the committee also decided to take legal action against those who could not provide amicable security to the slain leader and performed their duties negligently.
Babar said the Prime Minister may have issued instructions to pursue the instant case further. Talking to another TV channel, Fouzia Wahab said PPP core committee decided to take action against those who performed their duties negligently and could not protect Benazir Bhutto. She said a committee was also constituted to review the security lapse that occurred on the party side.
