A local magistrate on Saturday acquitted former PML-N MPA, Shumaila Rana, in the much-publicised credit card theft case, as prosecution failed to prove the allegations against her. The magistrate ruled that there was clear contradiction in the statements of witnesses. Ghalib Market police on July 07 last registered a case against Shumaila Rana on complaint of one Mugheez Islam under sections 420/468/471 and 379 of PPC.
