The upgradation of Audiovisual Department of Fatima Jinnah Medical College (FJMC) has been completed at a cost of Rs 2 million. This department has a great contribution in imparting training and providing education to the teachers as well as medical students.
It was stated by the Chairman Board of Management of Fatima Jinnah Medical College/Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Former Justice Mian Mehboob Ahmed, while inaugurating the newly up graded department, here on Saturday. Principal FJMC Professor Dr Abdul Majeed Chaudhry and other faculty members were also present on this occasion.
Mian Mehboob Ahmed further said that there is need to give the university status to FJMC, as this college fulfils all the criteria of a medical university. He further said that since FJMC has a complete infrastructure, which is required for a university, therefore, the government would not have to bear any additional financial burden.
